SCHOOL DISCIPLINE AND CODE OF CONDUCT
GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. No student will be permitted in the class once the class begins.
2. Students are required to attend the school in clean, neat and full uniform on all working days.
3. Due to valid reason if any student is not in full uniform, the reason needs to be mentioned in dairy with the signature of Parent. He She will be permitted in the class only with the permission of the Principal.
4. English is the medium of instruction in the school so English should be used at all times in the school premised.
5. Parents/guardian/visitors are not allowed to visit their ward or teachers in the classroom without the permission of the Principal.
6. Students are not allowed to remain in the class during recess.
7. Students will not be allowed to leave the school premises without the permission of the principal.
8. Students are expected to sort out their problem, if any, in dialogue with the teacher of principal.
9. A student should be punctual and regular in his/her work.
* Habitual late comers will be sent back home.
WITHDRAWAL
In case the parents desire with drawls of his/her ward, an application to this effect has to be submitted to be principal at least one month in advance. If the child is with drawn after the beginning of the term, the parents will be liable to pay the full session fee.
A NOTE TO THE PARENTS
The school authorities will strive to find out the interest and vision of the students and will avail maximum opportunities to realize their actual vocation in life. To achieve the objectives, the school will be developed into a fully fledged one that is 10+2. The school follows the CBSE pattern and evaluated the skills and intelligence of the studnets according to the system of C.C.E.
I would request the parents to C-operate with the school authorities in the noble task of making man. Parents are invited to confer with the school authorities from time on the progress of their children. Let us be honest and sincere in our duty and responsibility. I assure you the best service and dedication. I will abide by the responsibility, which I have taken on me. My colleagues (staff- members and the members of the Managing Committee) are equally serious about their mission. Let us trust each other and respect each one’s world views.
Parents are requested to go through the following points for the betterment of their wards:
1. The regular parental guidance at home is a must. Parents have to give time to their children and should have patience with them. It will bring desired progress to their wards.
2. Parents should not rely completely on a teacher or a care -taker. It they do they make their children staved of genuine love, affection, understanding and spiritual nurture.
3. Parents ought to be deeply involved In the process of developing the head, heart and hand of the child harmoniously. Father and mother are equally concerned about the development of their children’s character. Character building is the ultimate end of Education.
4. The child has a right to adequate nutrition, housing, recreation and medical care.
5. The child has a right to get the education which will prompt his general culture and will enable him on a basis of equal opportunity to develop his abilities, his individual judgment and his sense of moral and social responsibilities to become useful member of society. The best way to bring up the child is never to it him/her down.
6. Parents must make their complaints, if any, directly to the school – authorities and not to the class teacher.
7. The school Dairy is an effective means of communication between the parents/guardians should check their ward’s diary regularly and follow the given promptly.
8. Parents are expected to sign school diary, progress report and any other documents when requested.
9. Parents are recommended to look into their ward’s school, diary regularly and countersign remarks made on it.
10. Parents are to take care that their ward does the home work daily, and come prepared for the class, test and examination.
11. The are requested to send their children to school in time and in full uniform which is neat and clean.
12. School doesn’t take the responsibility of the goods lost from the students.
13. Fine will be levied form the students for the damage caused to the school property or they will have to make good any damage done. They also will be dealt severely for the same.
14. School authorities believe that regular attendance, alertness in class, regular performance of home tasks, being thoroughly prepared for the class every day and revising what is taught in the class are sufficient to ensure student’s progress. So private tuitions arregarded as unnecessary, though not harmful and it is discouraged. Private tuition tend to confuse the students and even mislead them and encourage them to be inattentive in the class.
15. Reasons for absence, late arrival or any other matter concerning the student may be intimated to the Principal through the diary.
16. Parents are requested to pay the fees in time.
17. As the child advances in age, guide them to become useful members of the family, society and country, Encourage self-help for work and study. Teach them to be responsible for all the choices they make.They should keep their house and room.
WITHIN THE SCHOOL COMPOUND
1. As soon as you enter into the school Premises. Please follow the instruction of the authority.
2.(I) At the first bell, the students have to stand in there place where they are.
(ii) At the second bell, students have to fall in line class wise in front of the school ground class teachers move as they are positioned towards the assembly place and assembly is started by the school Captain with School Prayer.
(iii) After instruction, Student are given opportunity to deliver a speech or the recite a rhyme, poem or to do such other activities.
(iv) After assemble, the students walk in silence to their classes with their class teachers.
3. Students should keep the school compound neat and clean. What paper is to be thrown in the baskets of bins provided for the purpose.
4. Students should speak English in the school Premises.
5. The students who damages any school property has to meet the expense for the same.
6. Students are not allowed to remain in the class during recess.
7. Students may not leave that school premises without the explicit permission of the Principal or appointed school] authority.
8. Books and periodicals not approved by the Principal, should I not be brought into the school premises. No Circulars and notice be put on the notice board, without the written sanction of the Principal
IN THE CLASSROOM
1. The self- discipline should become part of every student’s personal character for life.
2.All should be habitually clean and nearly dressed. A student who is slovenly dressed may even be sent back home.
3. Students are not permitted to attend parties, See cinema or go friend’s house on their way back home form school.
4. Any damage done will be made good by the one who has done it. No students should bring razor blades or any sharp instrument to school.
5. All letters and correspondence addressed to Students are subject to the scrutiny of the Principal. 6. The school is not responsible for articles or money lost.
7.Cycles must be kept locked at the cycle stand. No Vehicle should be driven in the school campus, while entering or leaving the school gate. One must walk Instead of riding.
8. Students who come to school escorted by parents or servants should never leave before they arrive. In case of any delay, It should be reported to the school office. 9. those who go home by themselves should reach home straight without loitering on the way. Students are warned not to buy anything especially eatable from street vendors.
10. All application for certificates must be made in writing. These will only be issued after 3 days of the receipt of the application.
11. Parents are requested to check the diaries of the children every say and ensure that instructions are being followed by their children properly.
12. Parents should not criticize a teacher in the presence of their children because it causes a student to lose his/her respect for children. If you have the illegitimate complaint, see the principal.
13. Discipline in the class – room will be under the control of the teacher who is teaching at the time. The class teacher is authorized by the Principal to maintain discipline in his/her class.
14. The school takes no responsibility for student who are outside the school during school hours without permission.
15. The rules of etiquette and manner must be observed by all the students. Juniors will respect and obey their seniors and teachers, and seniors will respect and obey their seniors and teachers, and seniors will be loving and considerate to all the juniors.
16. Students are answerable to the school authorities for their conduct in and outside the school. Hence misbehavior in public places justifies dismissal and discourtesy and disrespects to teachers are a sufficient cause for dismissal from the school.
17. Parents are welcomed to meet the teachers at other times by prior appointment.
